PhysCap in the community the GE Leeds half marathon Contact PhysCap Amelie's story My name is Amelie Stone and I am 4 years old. When I was 9 months old, I was diagnosed with having cerebral palsy. No one really knew how I was going to develop but since then, I have been diagnosed with severe epilepsy and hearing and visual problems. Because of this, I am unable to sit unaided, walk or talk and need specialist equipment to help me through the day and night. Although I have a family who love me very much, they are unable to afford the expensive equipment & therapy I need, both now and for years to come.
