Over the years the type of equipment needed has changed so much, yet always improving the life of so many children.

We have provided much needed equipment, including wheelchairs, specially adapted trikes, standing frames, smart boards and also helped with funding for children who require Bobath Therapy and conductive education.

We have purchased equipment enabling a teenager to speak to his family for the first time by means of an electronic ‘Touch Talker’. One of our greatest achievements was to fund the special design of a ‘Twinkle Eye’ switch which allowed a young girl, who was paralysed except for the movement of her eyelids, to activate a computer by herself, thereby opening up a world which was previously closed to her.

Recently we financed a new outdoor pavilion to the tune of £12,000 at Green Meadows School in Guiseley.
