Who do
PhysCap help? Any physically disabled child up to the age of eighteen, within the Yorkshire area that needs us! In the past, we have supported children with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Cats Eye Syndrome, Angelman’s Syndrome and Muscular Dystrophy, to name but a few. If you would like to find out about how PhysCap can help you, email or write to us now (see 'Contact PhysCap'), with details of the equipment you need and who it is for, together with the background and any recommendations from your carer or therapist. If the application is appropriate PhysCap will visit the child to find out how the child will benefit from the equipment and present the information to the charity for consideration. Over the last 25 years or so, PhysCap has been raising
money for disabled children, predominately in the Leeds area. During
that time, the number of families who have benefited from PhysCap's
donations, are simply too many to mention. From touch screen computer
systems, electric buggies and specially adapted trikes, through to
funding towards adapting an entire home. |
